About Me
Hello and welcome.
If you’re here, you may be looking for support with something personal, relational, or difficult to talk about. You’re not alone.
I offer a calm, confidential space where we can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace. My approach is thoughtful and collaborative, with a focus on helping you make sense of your experiences, improve your emotional and relational wellbeing, and move towards more fulfilling connections.
I am a qualified psychosexual and relationship psychotherapist, working with individuals and couples navigating challenges around intimacy, connection, and emotional wellbeing. You may be feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. Therapy offers a space to explore this with support and clarity.
Alongside my clinical work, I have over 30 years’ experience in the NHS, including the last 20 years working in commissioning services. This has given me a deep understanding of the complexities people face when seeking support.
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in building a genuine therapeutic relationship. I offer a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported in making meaningful change.

Who I Work With
I work with individuals and couples seeking support with relationship, intimacy, or emotional difficulties.
You may be navigating challenges such as changes in sexual desire, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection.
You may also be feeling the impact of past experiences on your relationships.
I also work with clients exploring questions around identity, cultural expectations, and the complexities of maintaining relationships across different life stages.
My practice is inclusive and respectful of diversity. I welcome clients from a range of backgrounds, including those from different cultural communities and LGBTQIA+ identities.
HOW I WORK
I offer a calm, confidential space where you can talk openly and at your own pace. We will begin by exploring what has brought you to therapy and what you would like to change or understand more clearly.
My approach is collaborative and responsive to your needs. For some, this may involve exploring current challenges in relationships or intimacy. For others, it may include reflecting on past experiences and how these continue to shape the present.
I work in a thoughtful and structured way, drawing on my clinical training alongside over 30 years’ experience in the NHS. This allows me to support you not only emotionally, but also in making sense of complex situations and finding practical ways forward.
Sessions are led by you. We can move at a pace that feels manageable, with space to pause, reflect, and work towards meaningful and sustainable change.
Whether you are coming alone or as a couple, the focus is on creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
WHAT TO EXPECT/FIRST SESSION
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. It is completely natural to feel uncertain or have questions before your first session.
In our first meeting, we will take time to explore what has brought you to therapy and what you would like support with. There is no pressure to share everything at once, we will go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
You may find that simply having space to talk openly, without judgement, begins to bring a sense of clarity. I will listen carefully and may ask gentle questions to help you reflect and make sense of your experiences.
Together, we can think about what you would like to gain from therapy and how we might work towards this. This might include short-term support around a specific issue, or longer-term work exploring deeper patterns.
If you are attending as a couple, the first session will focus on understanding both perspectives and beginning to explore the dynamics within your relationship.
There is no expectation to commit beyond the first session, it is an opportunity to see whether this feels like the right space for you.
